A: You do not need a passport to reserve your hotel room. However, a valid passport is required for international travel to the Dominican Republic. We strongly encourage all guests to check their passport expiration date early and make sure their travel documents are ready well before departure.

Q: Does everyone attending the wedding need to book through Authentic Travel Connections?

A: Yes. Authentic Travel Connections has secured the wedding room block at Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa. To receive the group accommodations and ensure your reservation is properly connected to Asia & Sayvion’s wedding group, we ask that all guests reserve their stay through the designated wedding booking link.

Q: Are flights included in the hotel package?

A: No. Flights are not included in the resort package and will need to be purchased separately. If you need assistance finding flight options to Punta Cana, Authentic Travel Connections will be happy to assist.

Q: Which airport should I fly into?

A: Guests should plan to fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is located in the Punta Cana area, and transportation to the resort can be coordinated based on your travel arrangements.

Q: Are there nonstop flights from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Punta Cana?

A: Nonstop service between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) may be available depending on your travel dates and airline schedules. Flight schedules can change, so we recommend checking available options when you are ready to book. Authentic Travel Connections can also assist with finding the best flight itinerary for your trip.

Q: How do I reserve my room at Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa?

A: Visit the Accommodations section of the wedding website and select the reservation link provided. From there, you can view the available room categories, choose your accommodations, and secure your reservation within Asia & Sayvion’s wedding group.

Q: Can I purchase travel insurance?

A: Yes, and travel protection is highly recommended for international travel. Available travel protection options can be selected during the booking process. Please review the coverage and terms carefully so you can choose the option that works best for your trip.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel after paying my deposit?

A: Cancellation policies and penalties may apply once your reservation has been confirmed. Please review the terms and cancellation policy provided during booking before submitting your deposit. Travel protection is recommended to help protect your investment against certain unexpected circumstances, subject to the policy selected.

Q: Is airport transportation included?

A: Group airport transfers are included for guests booking through Authentic Travel Connections. Guests will need to provide their complete flight information at least 45 days prior to departure so transportation can be properly coordinated.

Q: Can I arrive early or stay longer after the wedding?

A: Absolutely! You're welcome to turn the celebration into a longer Dominican Republic getaway. If you would like to arrive before the wedding dates or extend your stay afterward, please contact Authentic Travel Connections for availability, pricing, and assistance with your arrangements.

Q: What should I wear to the wedding?

A: Think elegant, tropical, and comfortable. The celebration will take place in a beautiful beach destination, so lightweight and breathable fabrics are encouraged. Resort-chic or semi-formal attire works beautifully for the setting. Since portions of the celebration may take place on or near the sand, we also recommend choosing footwear with the beach in mind.

Q: What is the weather like in Punta Cana?

A: Punta Cana has a warm, tropical climate with plenty of sunshine, ocean breezes, and temperatures that are generally warm throughout the year. Brief tropical showers are always possible, so we recommend packing light, breathable clothing along with sunscreen and everything you need for plenty of time by the water.

Q: Is Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa all-inclusive?

A: Yes! Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive resort. Your stay includes a variety of dining options, beverages, 24-hour room service, a refreshed mini-bar, resort activities, entertainment, pools, beach access, and many other amenities included with your stay.

A: Yes. Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is family-friendly, so guests traveling with children can enjoy the wedding getaway as well. The resort offers activities and amenities for different ages while still providing plenty of spaces for adults to relax and enjoy their vacation.
