Our story began in 2018, when we met in high school at just 15 and 16 years old. What started as young love quickly grew into something so much more, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.Over the years, we’ve grown up together, made countless memories, and continued choosing each other through every season of life. Asia loves Sayvion’s goofy personality and the genuine heart behind everything he does, while Sayvion loves Asia’s positivity and selfless nature.From two teenagers who found each other in high school to building a life and future together, our journey has been filled with love, laughter, growth, and plenty of unforgettable moments. Now, we’re so excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife and celebrate this special moment with the people we love most.

Hi, we’re Tyrone &amp; Shay Bowie, the husband-and-wife team behind Authentic Travel Connections. Our love for destination weddings is personal because this journey started with our own.Years ago, we chose beautiful Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, as the place to say “I do,” surrounded by nearly 80 of our closest family members and friends. For many of our guests, it was their first time traveling internationally. Watching everyone come together, experience a new destination, celebrate love, laugh, explore, and create memories that continued long after we returned home showed us just how special travel can be. That experience became part of the inspiration behind Authentic Travel Connections.Since then, our travels have taken us throughout the Caribbean and across Europe, Africa, Asia, and beyond, but Punta Cana will always hold a special place in our story.
